Award Opportunities

ADAA conference awards: The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) is now accepting applications for the Career Development Travel Awards, Donald F. Klein Early Investigator Award, and Clinician Trainee Award. Eligible applicants are graduate and medical students, residents, clinical trainees, and early career professionals who have completed their training or degrees within the past three years.

ADAA is proud to announce the second annual Career Development Leadership Program, an intensive mentoring and professional development opportunity for early career clinicians and researchers. It will take place April 9-12, 2015, throughout the Anxiety and Depression Conference.

The APA is currently accepting nominations/applications for the following fellowships and research opportunities for residents:


RESIDENT PSYCHIATRIC RESEARCH SCHOLARS program is designed to encourage promising postgraduate (PGY-1, PGY-2 or PGY-3) psychiatry trainees to enter the field of psychiatric clinical and health services research. The one-year fellowship provides a stipend of $2,500 and also provides funding for travel to the APA Annual Meeting. Deadline: January 15, 2015

MINORITY FELLOWSHIPS endeavor to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in mental health and substance abuse care by providing specialized training to psychiatry residents and medical students interested in serving minority communities. Deadline January 30, 2015
