Robert Elliott, MD directs the Psychiatry Service at Emory University Student Health and Counseling Services. His academic interests include understanding the continuum of mental health needs of college students, and determining best practices for delivering effective and efficient care to meet these growing needs. He also coordinates residency education in student health psychiatry. Dr. Elliott is board certified in psychiatry, and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is also a clinical psychoanalyst and faculty of the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute, where he has co-chaired the Curriculum Committee and led didactic courses on psychoanalytic technique for candidate analysts. He has served in various leadership roles in the Atlanta Psychoanalytic Society, and is an active member of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
