Volunteering

Opportunities abound for those interested in truly understanding individuals living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  Planned activities on the Emory University campus and nearby locations provide real-life opportunities for adults with ASD to practice skills and students/community volunteers to become acquainted with the strengths and challenges of ASD.  Our volunteers serve as peer models, providing support via instructive modeling and gentle coaching.

Service Learning students enjoy the opportunity to learn, first hand, how to successfully interact with and support individuals.

Internships/Field Work: Individuals are provided with the opportunity to employ skills learned in the class room to real-world scenarios.
