The Early Emory Center for Child Development and Enrichment (formerly known as the Walden Early Childhood Center) provides a high-quality learning environment with well-trained, nurturing staff to enhance children’s language, social-emotional and intellectual development.
Our program offers toddler to pre-kindergarten inclusive environments for all children ages 1-5, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through these interactions, we have the opportunity to encourage acceptance of individual differences and build meaningful friendships from an early age.
Grounded in innovative, research-based strategies in child development, learning is encouraged through play and interactions. Within the program’s daily schedules, children create, explore, and learn problem solving, communication, social interaction and critical-thinking skills through self-initiated and staff-supported activities. Parent involvement at our center works to strengthen the children’s learning experiences beyond the classroom to home and the community.
We employ a team of creative, caring and committed staff and support their continued professional development in childhood development, early education and autism intervention.
