Joseph Cubells, MD, PhD, serves as Director of Medical and Adult Services with the Emory Autism Center. He is also an Associate Professor in the departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Human Genetics. He has been with the Emory School of Medicine since 2004, having previously served as a member of the psychiatry faculty at Yale University and the West Haven VA Medical Center for nine years. Within the Emory Autism Center, Dr. Cubells oversees a psychopharmacology clinic for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related neuro-developmental disabilities, as well as for patients with defined genetic disorders and psychiatric manifestations.
